Laura Rachel Kaneaster passed away on June 7, 2026. She was born on March 18, 1980, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Rick and Linda Kaneaster. Laura was raised in Warsaw, Missouri, where she attended Warsaw High School and built lifelong friendships. She was known for her kind heart, infectious sense of humor, and ability to make anyone laugh. Laura never met a stranger and loved everyone she encountered. Her warmth, compassion, and generous spirit touched countless lives. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her beloved son, Trace Kaneaster. She treasured every moment spent with her family and friends. Laura loved camping, being outdoors, and making memories with those she loved. Whether gathered around a campfire or sharing stories with family, she brought laughter and light wherever she went. Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Kaneaster; her son, Trace Kaneaster; and her granddaughter, Nova Flowers. Grandparents George and Delores Kaneaster and Bill and Carol Brown. She is survived by her father, Rick Kaneaster; her sisters, Jennifer (Greg) Kaneaster and Amanda (Chris) Kaneaster; her brothers, Timothy Cummins, Ryan Cochran, and Jake Jenson; her grandson, Jace Flowers; her daughter-in-law, Savannah Taylor; her nieces, Chloe (Kai), Peighton, Lyndie, Georgia, Shawnee, and Charlee; her nephews, Kyler and Grayson; her aunts, Kathy and James Shields; and Susan and John Stehli; and many cousins; Lesley, Andrew, Jarrett, Jessie, Ashley and Grant; extended family members, and dear friends. Laura also shared special bonds with many honorary sisters, including Kristie Loughner, Jennifer Long, Amanda Andrews, Stephanie Cummins, Jenny Lewis, Tiffany Sulfridge, Heather Crain, and Lisa Lyle, who loved her deeply and will forever cherish her memory. Laura's laughter, love, and beautiful spirit will be missed beyond measure. Though her time here was far too short, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her forever.
