Lawanda Jean Hunt(Spears) was born on December 2, 1957 in Helena, Arkansas to the the union of Willie and Louvina Spears, whom both preceds her in death.
Lawanda (Wanda) was educated in Kansas City, Mo school district were she moved to Augusta, Arkansas were she finished her education. She was united in marriage to late Rev. Samuel Hunt, the union of one child was born Felisha Lafay Hunt, whom also preceeded her in death.
Lawanda (Wanda) was a private duty health aid. She was worked in Augusta, AK, Cleveland, OH, and Kansas City,Mo. Where she raised her only granddaughter.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: One Granddaughter Reg'Jaela Hunt (Earl), Three Great grandchildren Emaurie Miller, Earl'Anthony Miller, Elayisa Miller. One brother Odell Spears, and One Adopted Brother Tino W. Three Sisters Gladys Hibbs, Tina Spears, and Beverly Spears. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 21, 2023, visitation will be held from 2 P.M. - 3 P.M. with services beginning at 3 P.M. Services will be held at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC located at 2800 East 18th st. KCMO 64127.
