Leonard G. Maciel

Leonard was born on January 13, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Jessie R. Maciel and Clement Maciel Sr. He accepted Christ as a young boy, attended St. Peter's Catholic grade school, and graduated from Lillis High School in KCMO. Leonard was an altar boy at St. Peter’s church, where he attended services with his family. Leonard was a construction worker and bartender at The Brooksider. Leonard never married or had children of his own. He did, however, have many nieces, nephews, grandnephews, and grandnieces. Leonard went home to his Savior and parents on August 5, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Clement Maciel, his brother Jesse Maciel, his brother Ricky Maciel, and his sisters Mary Jane Drury and Velia Marie Tebeck. He leaves behind his sister Anita Wood and his brother-in-law Frank Tebeck. His nephews James and Joseph Drury and niece Tina Grantham. Several other nieces and nephews and great-nephews and nieces, as well as his friends and neighbors. He enjoyed fishing, spending time at the lake with friends and family, and generally enjoyed the outdoors. His family will deeply miss him.
