Linda Diann Berry

Linda Diann Berry, 72, passed away on August 19, 2025, in Louisburg, Kansas. Born on January 16, 1953, in Gainesville, Missouri, she lived a life marked by warmth, humor, and deep devotion to those she loved.

A graduate of Linwood High School, Linda obtained her license as a cosmetologist, which allowed her to pursue a career as a hairstylist, she referred to it often. Linda carried the values of her upbringing throughout her life; kindness, resilience, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone around her. She was known for her generous and loving soul. She cherished every moment spent with family and friends.
Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a deep love for music, namely Elvis Presley - his voice often filling the room as she sang along or tapped her foot to the beat. Her favorite delicacies were legendary among those who knew her: cheeseburgers and tacos were more than just meals - they were staples of comfort and laughter shared at the table. And no day was complete without a strawberry milkshake or a Coke in hand!

She is lovingly remembered and survived by her children; daughters: Kim Berry and Rachel Brown, son Brian Cook (Stefanie), and former husband Terence Berry. Her legacy continues through her Grandkids: Derek Gillespie, Korissa Fannin, Austin Coble, Dakota Coble, Henry (Transom) Brown V, Barrett Brown, Caenen Brown, Zoey Brown, Natalie Burke, Aaron Cook and 8 great grandchildren each of whom brought immense pride and happiness into her life. Linda also leaves behind her siblings; sisters: Cynthia Rogers and Delilah "Lori" Payton( Richard), and brother: Thomas "Tommy" Cook (Rebecca) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She now joins in rest her parents: Thomas Leo Cook and Veta Fay Cook; and sisters: Tammy Overturf and Teresa Sweigart.

Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her laughter echo in our memories, and her love continues to guide us forward. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 13, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Louisburg Baptist Temple 6961 W 271st St. The ceremony will be officiated by Loren Drummond. Her final resting place will be at Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield, Mo.
