Linda Diane Singleton was born to Willie Aubrey Sr and Linda Helms on June 7, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Linda was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri School District graduating from Southeast High School in 1974. She worked at various jobs in the Kansas City area.

Linda accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age.  She was a member at Mount Horeb Baptist Church where she served on the Usher board in her attendance.

Linda loved spending time with her sisters, calling her sons, and talking with them about the Chiefs game, shopping, interior design, gardening, spending time with her grandkids and taking care of her cat “Church”.

Linda Diane Singleton departed this life on Friday, January 27, 2023 at her home. Her mother, Linda Helms, father, Willie Aubrey Sr., two brothers,  Anthony Hollowman, and Leonard Helms, and  nephew, Leonard Simmons preceded her in death.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Bruce Singleton Jr. (Tiffany), and  Ronnell Rice; three grandkids, MaKenzie Rice, Malachi Rice, and Kayloni Burnett; one brother, Willie Aubrey Jr.;    four sisters, Brenda Long (Wilbert), Sharol Aubrey, Theresa Collins (Kevin), and La Tonya King, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends that will miss her dearly.

Services will be held Saturday February 11, 2023

Visitation will be held from 9 A.M. - 10 A.M.

Service Begins at 10 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral &  Cremation Services, LLC
