A Beautiful Life Remembered

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lora Lee Kent, who transitioned on August 24, 2026, at the age of 63. Lora was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Nikki Maus and James Ford. Lora was truly one of a kind—a strong, loving woman we lovingly called “Superwoman.” She carried the world on her back and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She loved cooking, singing, shopping, shoes, people, and most of all, her family.

Her greatest accomplishment was being a loving mother, daughter, sister, Nana, and aunt. She gave her family a love that could never be replaced. Her strength, laughter, kindness, and beautiful spirit touched everyone blessed to know her.

Those Left to Cherish Her Memory Lora leaves to cherish her memory her brother, James Ford; her daughters, Hallee Kent and Alexia Kent; her grandchildren, Maleeia Kent, Ryl'Lee Anderson, Anthony Kent, Jasper Quaites, Neveah Mitchell, and Giovanni “Gio” Quaites; her nieces, Jenni and Courtney; her nephew, Bryce; and countless family members, friends, and loved ones. Though our hearts are broken and life will never be the same, the love Lora gave us will remain with us forever. Her laughter will echo in our memories, her lessons will live through us, and her love will continue through every life she touched. She may no longer be here physically, but her love, her strength, and her spirit will never leave us.
