Loran Webster Wright

Loran Webster Wright was born February 13, 1961, in Des Arc Arkansas to Van and Jeanette Wright. He received his education in private school and later worked in retail and food service for American Vending at the Garmin Campus in Olathe KS. He later followed his passion for helping people in the community by becoming an assistant director of Victory Outreach Ministries of Kansas City men and women homes.

Loran’s greatest accomplishments was turning his life over to God. He met Lena and married on April 21, 2007. He was blessed with six children through marriage.

Loran’s love language was acts of service to every-one. He valued spending time with family and attending church. In his final days he was sick but made sure to attend mother’s day service with his mother.

Loran departed his life on May 20 at home. He is preceded in death by OB. Thomas, Annie Thomas (grandparents); Van Wright (father); Otis Thomas (uncle); Shirley, Thomas (aunt); Mario Wright, Curtis Wright (brothers); Patricia James (daughter); and two brothers-n-law, Kevin Williams and Floyd Harris.

Loran leaves to cherish his memory a spouse; Lena Wright, mother; Jeanetta Wright, siblings; Vana Samaniego of (LA), Marietta Mathews (Bobbye) MD, Glenn Wright (IL), Gerald Wright, Annie Williams, Valarie Davis (Charles), LaMia Lee (Lonnie), uncles; Curtis Thomas, Richard Thomas (Linda)NE, children; Rosa, Terrance (Emanuella), Issac (Iesha), Michael (Ashley), Destiney (Eddie) and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, friends and his Victory Outreach family.

A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 17,2024 at 1st Regular Baptist Church located at 2007 Hardesty Kansas City, Missouri 64127. The Viewing will be 10:00am-11:00am, Service will begin at 11:00am.
