Luis Avendaño Cortes was born January 20, 1983, in Veracruz, Mexico, to Minerva Cortes and Antonio Avendaño Pacheco. Luis met and married Maria Lopez, and together they were blessed with five children. Luis enjoyed playing soccer and loved to dance. He will be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him. Luis departed this life on January 17, 2026. Luis leaves to cherish his memory his spouse, Maria Lopez; his children, Amy, Maria, Ricardo, Brian, and Catalina; his parents, Antonio (“Tony”) and Minerva; and his sibling, Antonio Ervey, along with grandparents, uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Será recordado por la alegría que brindó a todos los que lo rodeaban. Luis partió de esta vida el 17 de enero de 2026. Luis deja para honrar y atesorar su memoria a su esposa, Maria Lopez; a sus hijos, Amy, Maria, Ricardo, Brian y Catalina; a sus padres, Antonio (“Tony”) y Minerva; y a su hermano, Antonio Ervey, además de abuelos, tíos, tías, sobrinos, primos, y muchos otros familiares y amigos.
