Margaree Whitter Burns

Margaree Whitter Burns, 95, was born in DeWitt, Arkansas to Mattie Whitter. 

She received her formal training in the public schools of DeWitt, Arkansas and made her career working in Nursing homes in the    Kansas City, Missouri area. 

Margaree met and married Artha Burns in Kansas City, Missouri. This union did not bare any children.

Margaree was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. She loved to sing and talk about the Lord. She also enjoyed gardening, and helping others. 

She departed this life on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Her husband, mother, and brothers, all preceded her in death. 

Margaree will forever be remembered by her Goddaughter, Dorothy Griffin Mackey, other relatives, and friends.
