Marsha Anna Marie Spear (Kilpatrick) of Kansas City, MO, passed peacefully at home on September 18, 2026. She was born December 29, 1959, to Edna Mae and Guy Pickens Kilpatrick. She was the youngest of 8 children.

Marsha loved her family and God. She enjoyed coffee, shopping, music, Chinese food, and soap operas. She spent several years as a Sunday school and VBS teacher at her neighborhood Lutheran church where she had been a member.

Marsha is preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings, and 1 niece. She is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Donald Thompson Sr., her 4 children: Shante Kilpatrick (Justin Fontaine), Sabrina (Niki) Wilson (Joe Wilson), Taylor Thompson, and Donald (DJ)Thompson Jr., 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
