Martin Dee Erby

Martin Dee “Marty” Erby, 71, transitioned from this life on November 6, 2025, at Parkway Health and Rehabilitation Center in Kansas City, Missouri, and entered into his eternal rest. Born on June 22, 1954, at the Kansas University Medical Center to John and Marjorie Erby, Martin is now reunited in glory with his parents John D. and Marjorie Erby, and his eldest sister, Udonda Calloway.

Martin was raised in the Kansas City, Missouri community and graduated from Central High School in 1972. He later served his country in the United States Army, receiving an Honorable Discharge. Throughout his life, Martin worked faithfully in various roles in the Kansas City area, always carrying a quiet strength and a generous spirit. 

He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory his sisters Johnella Pruitt, Liz Fleming, and Dee Erby, all of Kansas City, Missouri, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones. Marty will be dearly missed, yet his family takes comfort in knowing he is at peace and resting safely in the Lord’s care.
