Marva Louise Wilson peacefully entered eternal rest on January 11, 2026. Born on December 14, 1948, Marva lived a life marked by quiet grace, unwavering love, and deep devotion to her family and faith.

Marva was the beloved daughter of John Franklin Forbush Sr. and Willie Mae Forbush, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Gregory Forbush, Herbert Forbush, John Forbush, and Glenn Forbush; her husband Thurman Wilson; and her son Anthony Forbush.

Marva received her education in the Kansas City metropolitan area and dedicated many years of service working at Research Hospital, where her compassion and strong work ethic were evident to all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Melinda Wilson and Angela Wilson; her grandchildren Shantell, Miciah, Kiara, Trevion, and Martise; and her great-grandchildren Chloe, James, Aubri, Karlie, Paisley, and Rue.

Marva walked this life with a gentle spirit and a heart full of care. She found joy in tending to her plants, playing her lottery tickets, and faithfully watching Wheel of Fortune. Though she has gained her heavenly rest, her love remains alive in the hearts of her family.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Malachi MBC, 8511 Oldham Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.; the service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
