Mary Ann Thornton-Carmack was born on April 24, 1955, in Bonhill, Scotland, to James Thornton and Jean Callaghan Thornton. She later became a citizen of the United States on December 12, 2003.

Mary was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Randy Lee Carmack, on May 15, 1999.

Mary enjoyed traveling, spending time with her Yorkies, relaxing by her pool, and winding down with quiet moments spent knitting.

She was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church in Scotland.

Mary leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Randy Carmack; her children, Craig, Kirsty, and Kirk; her stepson, Joshua; and her seven grandchildren.
