Mary Elizabeth Eberts (Rotunno)

Mary Elizabeth (Rotunno) Eberts was born on July 30, 1949, in Kansas City to Lillie and Anthony Rotunno.

She was educated at MCC and achieved her dream career at TWA as a Technical Specialist, where she eventually retired.

Mary met (Byron) Skip Eberts Jr. in 1981. They married in 1991 and celebrated nearly 42 years together. They were blessed with three children from previous marriages. Mary and Skip were best friends and soulmates. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2023, and has now welcomed her to heaven.

Mary loved boating, jet skiing, animals, working out on her treadmill, gardening, and volunteering.

Mary was also preceded in death by her baby brother, Joseph Rotunno; her parents, Lillie and Anthony Rotunno; and her beloved pets, including Sylvester.

She is survived by her daughter, her only child, and her granddog, Sophia Loren, who are left to cherish her memory. Also left to cherish her memory are her dear friends Annie Keyes, Cathy Smith, Louise Calvert, and Susan Norton.

There will be no service. Her ashes will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband at Leavenworth Veterans Cemetery, and her name will be added to the headstone.
