Mary Anne Jackson was born on August 14th 1954, in Kansas City, MO, to David and Elizabeth Janssens. She was the fourth child out of nine. In her younger years, she enjoyed theatre while she attended Center High School. She married Michael Jackson in July 1976 and celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary prior to her passing. Their journey together took them to many states, along with Japan. Together they had 3 surviving children. Over the years, she held many jobs, but her longest was at Center High School as the attendance secretary, where she retired in 2021. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren, along with being an avid reader.

In the last four years, she fought a courageous battle with a second form of breast cancer, having beaten it in 2006. The two fights took a toll on her body, and she departed this realm on September 5th 2026.

She is preceded in death by her father David, mother Elizabeth, sister Elizabeth, and son Jonathan.

She leaves behind her husband Michael, son Andrew (daughter Juliette), and his partner Stephanie (children Jason and Addison). Son Michael with his wife Emily (son Alex). Her daughter Sarah and her husband Conor with their twins Genevieve and Cillian. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and siblings.
