Maurice Lamont Brown

Maurice “MB” Lamont Brown was born on April 27, 1974, and from the look of things, it must have been a “Good Day”, before Cube declared his. Because his mother Edwina Brown gave birth to a wonderful soul that could warm the spirit of a Polar Bear, well at least that’s a sense of the love those related to him or even those who befriended him were going to receive.

Maurice went about life being compassionate and loving from every bit of his soul. MB had struggles in life but he did not let his shortcomings depict his character. Born again at the age of 15, he knew his calling was to spread the Gospel. And to add to that, it was a bit soothing not to mention he was very easy on the eyes of those who adored him which made it easy to receive his message. His every breath was to lift your spirits from whatever you were going through, without any gripe about the torment he was enduring, too.  This was a man that was full of sincere love for all of his family and he was always ready to pray for anyone that needed it.

He never lost his faith i in the Lord, so throw the C’s up for Christ of course. MB was always the life of the party because he was not only fearless about being himself and around his people or should I say “ The Hood”!!!

Maurice had a best-friend vibe and he always could make you laugh. He also loved cooking, and dancing, which shows that he valued the simple things in life…Making lemonade out of lemons when it came to life, MB must have had the recipe to James Lemonade if that was the case. Always walking and humming a melodic tune.

Maurice Brown was loved and he shared a lot of love throughout his life despite the up’s and down’s, he kept his Faith in God and made sure he kept your head up as well.

MB was a man of many trades, but the one he had a niche for which would become his all time  favorite, and that was when he learned the process for asphalt pavement installation with McConnell and Associates, which then led him to create his own company known as Super Cool Pavement.

Maurice Brown met and married his first wife, Vernisa Friends Jordan and through their union five children were born to this union.

Maurice (MB) departed this life on September 26, 2022. His mother, Edwina Brown Wallace; two

brothers, Monteke Brown, and Anthony Thomas, preceded him in death.
