Melvin L. Witt

Melvin L. Witt was born October 28, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri to Melvin and Candis Witt.

Melvin attended the Kansas City School District. He helped take care of his father. When he wasn’t helping around the house, Melvin enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and listening to music with family.

Melvin departed this life on Friday, April 7, 2023. His mother, Candis Witt; brothers, Altroy Talley and Judon Witt; and grand-parents, all preceded him in death.

Melvin leaves behind to cherish his memory, his two daughters, Sherron LaMasters, and LaKeisha LaMasters; father, Melvin Witt; sister, Flodean Witt; seven grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday April 19, 2023.

Services begins at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC
