Michael Alan Blanton

Michael (Mike) Blanton was born in Kansas City Missouri April 3, 1961 and passed peacefully on July 2, 2025 at the Kansas City Hospice House.

Mike graduated from Hickman High School in Kansas City. And as an entrepreneur already had a mowing business which carried him through some college. Also he was a professional driver, caretaker for his parents in their later years and owner of LB Distribution.

He had a great sense of humor, loved to play golf, and was a huge Chiefs fan. As a hard worker, he had a unique way of looking at the world and did things his own way.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Laurence Blanton. He is survived by his siblings; Karen Murphy, Bob Blanton (Karin), Jim (Debbie) Blanton. There are many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends. "Mike leaves behind the best of himself." He will be missed.
