Michael R. Alex

Michael R. Alex was born August 17, 1957 to Joseph L. Alex and Ella Mae Alex.
He grew up in the Kansas City area. He graduated from Bishop Lillis High School and went on to work for the City’s Parks and Recreation Division and later moved on to General Motors from which he retired.

Michael was an avid baseball player and fan. He loved listening to Jazz and playing cards with family and friends.
He passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, nephews and brother.

He leaves behind his precious memories to his sisters, Dierdre Andrews, Harith Geen, Amber Alvarado, April Alex and Lynn (John) Davenport; sister friend, Alyce King; brothers, Stevie Alex, Anthony Starks, and Nick (Bonnie) Haywood; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial Services for Mr. Michael Alex will be held on Friday September 8, 2023  at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st., KCMO 64127.
