Michael Paul Kimbrough was born on December 26, 1984, in Houston, TX, and passed away on February 27, 2026, in Kansas City, KS.
He is survived by his mother, Shannon (Berryman) Acreman; his step-father, Michael Acreman; and his sisters, Brittany Kimbrough Johnston and Dallas Kimbrough Mannisto. He also leaves behind his nieces, Macie Johnston and Emery Kimbrough; his nephew, Samuel Johnston; and numerous extended family members.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Sam Kimbrough; his brother, Jeffery Kimbrough; his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Geneva Kimbrough; his maternal grandparents, James and Patricia Berryman; his uncles, James Berryman and Rick Kimbrough; and his cousin, Shaun Stoy.
While living in Kansas, Michael remained closely connected to his family in Texas, including his grandmother, Geneva Kimbrough; his aunt, Carol Kimbrough Hair; his uncle, George Kimbrough and Uncle, Casey Berryman;his great-aunt, Mary Varghese; his great-uncle, Abraham Varghese; and his lifelong best friend, Josh Baldwin. He deeply valued these relationships, often choosing phone calls over text messages to maintain these bonds. Michael had looked forward to returning to Texas to live with his sister, Brittany, and reuniting with his best friend Josh, his wife Brittney, and twins, Avery and Grayson.
Having spent much of his childhood in Willis, TX, Michael developed a passion for baseball, soccer, video games, and WWE. He was a dedicated fan of Marvel Entertainment, the Houston Astros, and the Houston Texans. He also enjoyed music and the companionship of his dog, Harley. His kind and generous spirit will be greatly missed by his family and friends in both Texas and Kansas, including Hannah, Kris, Sammie, Jed, Jenny, and Randy.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Willis, TX.
