“UNCLE MIKE”
Uncle Mike was fun loving and always a good sport. He had a wonderful dry sense of humor and a spontaneous retort.
He could tell the most shocking stories with a perfectly straight face.Like convincing his nieces that chocolate milk came from chocolate cows with grace.
He loved his music and liked to show his freedom of expression in dance. He would gladly show those special moves at every given chance.
Uncle Mike always left a lasting impression on everyone that he came in contact.Being a loving uncle, brother, son, provider and friend. YES he was great at all that.
He had a quiet patience and a heart full of love and devotion.Always willing to do anything that was asked expressing a tender emotion.
He would sit attentively listening as his great-niece would read to him book after book.Encouraging her with every turning page it didn’t matter how long it took.
His presence made her feel seen, heard and proud that was his gift to all of us.Family was a priority he’d let you know he was there anytime you had something to discuss.
He was a pool shark many times pretending he didn’t know how to play. All the time just hustling the unsuspecting making them have to pay.
He wasn’t shy about catching up on his beauty sleep with his days starting around one.His coworkers knew better than to expect him in the mornings cause he wasn’t rising with the sun.
He loved to relax watching all episodes of 48 hours, his favorite sports and keeping up with the daily news. When his shows were on that meant do not disturb any conversation he would refuse.
He held a black belt in martial arts and wouldn’t ever let you forget it.One of his signature moves was kicking his leg over Grandma’s head but sometimes would regret it.
He proudly served six years in the Navy carrying with him a strong sense of morals and grounds. It kept him ready to help others his generosity knew no bounds.
When his nieces and nephews wanted to try their latest and adventurous cooking skill. He would be willing to be their taste tester no matter how outrageous the meal.
He made them feel like little Chefs and they truly loved him beyond measure.Uncle Mike’s love and compassion was one of his family’s greatest treasure.
Uncle Mike gave fully of himself in every role he held and to his family he was the best. His presence made our lives brighter now his absence feels like our sun has gone down at rest.
The Word says you will know the tree by the fruit that it bared.Uncle Mike your fruit was always letting us know how much you really cared.
LOVE YOU ALWAYS
