Michael Morgan

Micheal Morgan was born July 17, 1963, in Waterville Mississippi to Doris Jean Lee and Claud Morgan. 

Micheal worked as a chef for many years in Kansas City, MO. Micheal met Rosie in Kansas City, MO. Rosie had one child already when Micheal and Rosie fell in love, they added 3 more kids to the family because one wasn’t enough. Altogether they had 4 daughters Regina Shaw, Florine Shaw, Ashley Shaw, and they saved the best for last Rosie Shaw; believe it or not he looked at me and said the job is done no more kids, and I agreed with him.

 Micheal and Rosie got married November 1, 1994. Micheal love fixing on cars, and he loved to cook. Micheal loved being around his family and friends, he loved playing “old school” music, and he also love rapping with his nephews; he wasn’t that good at it, but they didn’t care they just wanted to be around their favorite uncle. Micheal also loved keeping his grandkids he was happy that he had a big family. 

Micheal Morgan departed his life on June 7, 2024, at 5:31a.m. with family by his side. Micheal’s daughter, Florine Mack; brother, Darryl Brown; his niece, Felica Cooper; and his father, Claud Morgan preceded in death. 

Micheal Morgan leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Rosie Morgan who he loved very much; his Children, Regina, Ashley, and Rosie; his mother, Doris; and his siblings, Alice, Margaret, Joanna, Linda, Michelle, Jean, and Barry. He also leaves 16 grandchildren,8 great grandchildren, 33 nieces, and 24 nephews. 

Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 27, 2024, visitation 9 A.M. - 10 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC located at 2800 East 18th Street Kansas City, Missouri 64127. 

Interment : XII Gates Memorial Gardens  Kansas City, MO.
