Germaine Taylor was loved by many, She definitely left a cherishing mark on everyone she came across!

Germaine Taylor (Sherrils) born April 16,1955 to Leroy and Elizabeth Sherrils. She attended Southeast High School for a few years but got her GED at Donnelly College where she also became an accountant. Germaine has 3 beautiful children. One Anthony Montel Sherrils proceeds in her death. She was married to Harold Eugene Taylor also long time boyfriend "Sammy" Grant Day also proceeds in her death.

Germaine worked as an accountant at KU medical Center. She later switched careers and did security. Last place of employment was Swope health center through Securitas.

Germaine took early retirement so she could take care of her mom who became ill.

Germaine became ill with early onset dementia around 2015 which has now claimed her life. She will be truly missed.

Germaine leaves to cherish her children :Shere Elizabeth Taylor(DeAndre T Pruett) Melondie Sherrils, Grandchildren: Anthony T Sherrils, Acaida M. Hill, Romell J Hill, Taylor Michelle Elaine Jacobs, Sire E Taylor, and Tyriq T Pruett and many sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles , cousins, nieces, nephews and many more.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday December 10, 2025, visitation will be from 2pm - 3pm with services beginning at 3pm at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th St. Kansas City, Mo 64127.
