Norman Lowell Parker, 95, of Lee's Summit, passed away on April 17, surrounded by family. Born on July 10, 1930, to Orin "Kelsay" Parker and May Ellen Brown Parker.

Norman was devoted to his wife of 14 years, Ellie Darner, and loving father to Marla McDowell, Stuart Parker, and grandson Devin Parker. Known for his love of cars and ability to talk with people, Norman grew up on a farm in Nauvoo, IL. His life stories include working on a harrow with run-away horses, racing motorcycles, to driving on the Mississippi River while frozen. He served in the Air Force, worked in car sales, business, hospital administration, and finally Enterprise Rent a Car.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rozella Parker (first wife), and Arlie Mae Parker Dowell (sister). He is survived by Ellie Darner (wife), children Marla (John) McDowell, Stuart (Kim) Parker, one grandson, and sister Doris (John) Cannizzaro.
