Pamela Laverne Woodcox (Harris)

Our Mother, Pamela Laverne Woodcox was born in Kansas City, Kansas on May 28,1989 to Charles L Harris Sr and Mary E Harris - Porter. Pam was united in Holy Matrimony with the love of her life , Hilliard Woodcox Sr, and to this reunion a beautiful blessing of 7 children was added to this family.

To know Pam was to know a woman who didn't just talk about love-she lived it. Pam took care of so many children that we can't even begin to count them. Pam would give you the shirt off her back and never ever backed down from a fight. Pam didn't play when it came to her grandchildren. In her eyes they never did any wrong and at at the same time, would cuss them out. Pam took so many children to Church and rode the Church Van. The Van would be so full of her children that they had to find other transportation for the other Church Folk. Pam made sure her children were fed, clothed, but most of all, Pam taught them about Jesus Christ. Pam was a woman who believed in the Power of the Gospel. Pam took Proverbs 22:6 to heart. " Train up a child the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it". Pam provided guidance and instruction to her children, shaping their character and behavior from a young age. " Mary Porter's Style".

Pam accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Mt. Sinai MBC. She was a dedicated Usher and loved greeting people at the door. Pam was preceded in death by her father Charles L Harris Sr, two brothers Charles L Harris Jr, and Melvin Harris. One Son Antonio Williams. Two nephews, Mark and Melvin Mims.

Pam leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Hilliard Woodcox Sr. Three sons Hilliard Woodcox Jr ( Tomeka) , Kenneth Charles Leon Harris and Terry Horton Jr, all of Kansas City, Missouri.
