Patricia Ann Sage

Patricia Ann Sage, affectionately known as “Pat”, was born on May 8, 1952, in Sikeston, Missouri to Odessa Finner (Wilson) and Frederick L. Williams. She grew up in Kansas City, MO, with her siblings and loving family. She graduated from Central High School in 1971 and received her Cosmetology license from the State of Missouri. She retired from Reynolds Metal Company/Ball Corporation after 29 years of service. She was a servant leader and avid volunteer. Pat was a member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) Higher Vision Chapter where she received a ‘Woman of The Year’ award. She was always learning, attending college and taking courses that helped her grow in her career. She was a dedicated member of Swope Parkway Church of Christ where she volunteered most of her time.

Pat was quick-witted and didn’t hold back. She was going to tell you the truth (as she saw it) and stand on business about it too! Even still, you could always count on her to listen. She would be a shoulder to cry on one minute, and the next, tell you to straighten up because she knew you were strong enough to get through the storm. She was passionate about supporting her family, friends and loved ones. You rarely heard her say no, and as long as it was on her calendar she was there.

Pat loved to craft. She could make garments by hand, and you could count on her going to JoAnne’s to find the perfect fabric to make it herself. Her favorite past-time was reading novels, completing puzzles and watching shows on Netflix. She was a health-enthusiast and always had a solution to your ailment. She was a God-fearing woman. She would pull out a scripture in a heartbeat and tell you just what God said. You could find encouraging quotes all throughout her home. Like saying “I never worried about having friends, because I had sisters”. In her later years she truly lived in her passion for being there for others.

Pat was a Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, and Cousin. She was preceded in death by her Father, her siblings Eddie Jr., Donald Williams, David Williams, Carolyn May, Celestine Fulsom, and daughter-in law Barbara Fleming.

She leaves behind three children: Brian Eugene Fleming, Venessa C Bowles (Joe Bowles), and Cynthia C Roe (Terrell Roe). 10 Grandchildren: Brieanna Fleming, Keashean Fleming, Cheyanne Fleming, Shylla Brown, Cynness Fleming, Skylar C Bowles, Te’Viana C Harris, JaeDyn C Harris, Terrayah Roe, and Tierra Roe. 3 Great Grandchildren: Simon Terry, Sebastian Mountjoy, and Yanez A. Fleming. Bonus daughters: Stephanie Hood and Robin Willis. Siblings: Stella Tinnin (Rocky), Doris Lacy, Darryl Williams, Camella Williams (George), Bridgit Thompson, Evette Finner, and Elaine Osborne. She leaves behind a host of other relatives, family and friends.
