Philip Lloyd Paige, 72, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away peacefully on July 7th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 15th, 1953, in Council Grove, Kansas, to Wilbur LloydPaige and Vera Ione Paige.

Growing up in Blue Rapids, Kansas, Philip enjoyed playing football, fishing, and golfing with his dad. He was also a very talented artist. He was interested in and studied horticulture in college. Philip spent many years working for Palmer News, a publishing company in Topeka, Kansas. He retired from working as a transporter for the railroad.

Philip loved spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors. Playing tennis, softball, bowling, and golf were some of his favorite pastimes. Finding“perfectly good” things at garage sales or along the side of the road gave him a thrill. Cheering on the K-State Wildcats brought him so much joy. Always making people laugh with a friendly disposition, Philip was loved and cherished by many.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Vera Paige, and his granddaughters, Emma and Hadley Corn. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Corn; his stepson, Keith Conklin; his grandson, Hayden Corn; and his sister, Althea Wertz.

A graveside service will be held in Wilsey, Kansas at a later date. His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time.
