Richard Cecil “Dick” Braxdale was born May 4, 1950, in Odessa, Missouri, to Cecil and Margie (Nordsieck) Braxdale. He attended Odessa schools and served in the United States Army. He worked for Campbell Construction for over 20 years. Dick enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Dick is survived by his life partner, Chris, of the home; a daughter, Kelli Sue Braxdale, of Winchester, Kentucky; two sisters, Mafalda Cannon of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Lori Haney of Bates City, Missouri; one brother, Gilbert Braxdale of Odessa, Missouri; one granddaughter, Michalla of Blue Springs, Missouri; two grandsons, Brandon and Alex of Winchester, Kentucky; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kimberly; and a sister, Cindy Wright.
