Ricky Alan Kaneaster, 64, passed away on June 11, 2026.

Ricky was born on June 16, 1961, in Warsaw, Missouri, to George and Delores Kaneaster. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, where he attended Ruskin High School and graduated with the Class of 1979. On September 1, 1979, he married the love of his life, Linda Brown. Together they had 3 beautiful daughters.

Ricky proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1988. Following his military service, he spent much of his working life as a warehouse and factory worker, earning the respect of those around him through his strong work ethic and dedication. He retired in 2023.

Ricky enjoyed spending time outdoors and was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or enjoying time with family and friends, he found happiness in life's simple pleasures.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Delores Kaneaster; his brother, Ray Casto; his daughter, Laura Kaneasterr; his grandson, Trace Kaneaster; and his nephew, Danny Casto.

Ricky is survived his daughters, Jennifer (Greg) Kaneaster and Amanda (Chris) Kaneaster; his grandchildren, Chloe (Kai) Kaneaster, Peighton Monnig, Lyndie Redmon, and Georgia Tiebout; his niece Lesley Casto; son in law Ryan Cochran,as well as many cherished cousins, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss him.

Above all else, Ricky loved his family. His strength, loyalty, sense of humor, and unwavering love for those closest to him will be remembered by all who knew him. Though he is gone from our sight, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
