Robert “Bobby Joe” Bonacorso, 81, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Born on September 13th, 1944, Bobby Joe brought warmth, laughter, and music into the lives of everyone who knew him.

From a young age, Bobby Joe showed a natural gift for music. As a talented doo-wop singer during the vibrant 1950s music scene, he had a voice that could brighten any room and a charm that made every performance memorable—whether on stage or singing with family and friends.

Bobby Joe's joyful spirit and warm presence touched the hearts of many. His infectious humor and kindness made people feel special, whether through a well-timed joke or simply by being himself.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Denise Gregory, son-in-law Joe Gregory, grandson Christopher Hampson, and many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shatzy, and daughter Missy.
