Roberta Artis

Roberta Artis, a quiet and sweet spirit, peacefully transitioned after a life filled with grace and dedication. A graduate of Georgia Tyler High School in Windsor, VA, Roberta later moved to Newark, NJ, where she attended Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School and began her career as a receptionist in a law office. She later found fulfillment in Independence, Missouri, working as a school bus attendant—a role she faithfully held for over 25 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory three loving sons: Lamont, Gustevus, and Jamaal; her devoted brother Edward Artis; along with a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Roberta’s gentle presence and kind heart will be deeply missed.
