Ronald Wayne Foster Sr.

Ronald Wayne Foster Sr. was born on March 9,1953, in Kansas City, Kansas to Hesilee and Ruth Foster.

Ronald was educated in the Kansas City Public School system and graduated from Westport High School. He worked for the City of KC Park and Rec Department for over 25years, starting as a seasonal equipment operator and promoted to area superintendent.

Ronald met and married Barbara Foster in December of 1972 and together they were blessed with three children. Ronald enjoyed playing softball, watching old western shows such as Gunsmoke and  Wagon Train, and rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. You would often find him working on cars or listening to old school music. He loved  making people laugh and was a social butterfly…he never met a stranger. Ronnie valued his family and friends, and always showed up to family functions in one of his infamous “brims”.

Ronald Foster Sr. departed this life on November 25, 2023. He was preceded in death by Hesilee and Ruth Foster, Hesilee Foster Jr., and Kendall  Foster.

Ronald leaves to cherish his children Lashelle Love, Ronald Foster Jr. (Francine), and Tonoa Foster; siblings Yvonne Crawford, Ralph Anderson, and Carolyn Kurney; grandchildren Keith Love, Taylor Foster, Rashad Moorning, Toni Love, Skyler Foster, and Kamryn Foster; great-grandchild Tahj Woods; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday December 5, 2023, visitation will beheld 9 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Service, LLC 2800 East 18th st. KCMO 64127.
