Sandra Lou Griffin

Sandra “Sandy” Lou Griffin of Grandview, MO, passed away on July 1, 2025. She was born and raised in Missouri and moved to Tennessee for 36 years before returning to Missouri. She was the life of the party, and everyone called her Mom or Nanna. Her favorite nickname was “Nanna Banana.”

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Griffin; father, James Willis; mother, Nancy Willis; brothers, David and Jimmie Willis; Stephanie Ravenscroft; and daughter, Rhonda Griffin.

She is survived by her children, Shawn (Kim) Worley, Angel Vaughan, Joshua (Michelle) Worley, Jennifer (Larry) Dalton, Leslie (Chad) Russell, Ginger Griffin, and Brandy (Richard) Rendon; her sister, Rhonda (Brian) Ravenscroft; grandchildren, Shawna Worley, Catie Duncan, Brandon (Tiffany) Bishop, Anthony Worley, Justin (Megan) Leon, Brandon Vaughan, Shane (Daniella) Sharbel, Shandi Vaughn, Casie Worley, Tristian Ravenscroft, Amanda (Antonio) Clark, Christian Griffin, Bridget, Elam, Katie (Cody) Munkers, Robert (Kassi) Raiff, Jason Collins, Kaylynn Rendon, and Richie Rendon; seventeen great-grandchildren; and special friends, John Rainbolt, Mark Sharbel, and Ronald Clayton Vaughan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
