Sarah Cathleen Williams (Veitch)
Cathy was born on August 20,1961 in Kansas City, MO to Marjorie (Bauer) and David Veitch.
She attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and obtained her nursing degree at
JCCC in 1996. She loved music, reading, and animals of all kinds. Her endless compassion and
empathy served her well in her nursing career until her health declined and she was forced to
retire.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Steve Williams, her children Andrea (Brad),
Brian, Sean, and Sarah; siblings Jeanine, Maureen, Aileen, and Alex; grandchildren Isaac,
Jacob, and Anthony; many beloved nieces and nephews, one great grandchild, and many
beloved friends.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 10 at 7:00 pm in the chapel at Hospice House on
Wornall Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Kansas City Hospice House.
