Sharon Louise Ludwig, 57, passed away on April 16, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri, at NorthCare Hospital Hospice House. Sharon passed away in the presence of her family. Sharon was born on September 7, 1968, in Blaine, Minnesota, to Diane and Ken Kittelson. Over the years, life took her to many places, including California, Illinois, and Colorado.

 After spending 18 years in Colorado, she, her husband & her youngest daughter made the personal decision to return home to Minnesota, and later moved to Missouri, where she spent her final years. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. She is survived by her husband, Mike Ludwig; her three daughters, Nicole Kimmerle (36), Kellsie Wells (32), and Danielle Del Pino (25); and her cherished grandchildren, Olivia Wells (4) and Colin Wells (22 months).

 She is also survived by her parents, Diane and Ken Kittelson. Sharon had long looked forward to becoming a grandmother and found great joy in her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Cody Kimmerle, who passed away in 2003 at the age of 10. 

Sharon’s life was shaped by both love and challenges, but she was always guided by good intentions. She had a special connection to the Rocky Mountains and loved spending time in Glenwood Springs, a place that brought her peace and joy. In accordance with her wishes, her ashes will be spread there. Sharon will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
