Sheila D. (Williams) Kabba entered eternal rest on February 28, 2026, at the age of 62. She was born on May 2, 1963, in Kansas City, Missouri to Della Williams and Otis Williams.

Sheila attended Westport High School and received her GED at Manual Career Tech Center. Shelia was also a graduate of the Victory Homes through Victory Outreach Kansas City. She rededicated her life to Christ in 2012 at Victory Outreach where she heard the message of hope and the plan of Jesus Christ for her life. She gained a radical boldness during this time. She was filled with the Holy Spirit learned to pray with authority and would witness to others every chance she got. She was a true evangelist. Sheila served in Women’s Ministry, Hospitality, and various other ministries while at Victory Outreach. In 2023 the Lord led her to Berean Family

Fellowship where she served faithfully in the homeless ministry, woman’s ministry, and very active in the Adults Sunday School until the day of her passing.

She worked in the food management industry for many years, dedicating herself to excellence and service throughout her career. After retiring, she continued to share her talents and strong work ethic as an Administrative Secretary at AARP.

Shelia loved life to the fullest and embraced everyone. As the matriarch of her family, she lovingly watched over her seven children, more than thirty grandchildren, and countless extended family members. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel loved, accepted, and welcomed each person felt seen, valued, and special.

She was as real as they come — what you saw was exactly what you got. She was a no-nonsense woman and stood firm on what she believed. Her wit was sharp, her wisdom deep, and her presence unforgettable. At the same time, she carried a beautiful light within her that shined through in her patience, compassion, and unwavering love for those around her.

She had an incredible memory for details that mattered most. For example, she knew everyone’s birthday and made it a point to celebrate each family member in her own thoughtful way. To her, family was everything. She instilled in those around her the

importance of love, unity, and support, always wanting the very best for each and every one of them. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with her kindness, wisdom, and strength. She will forever be remembered as the heart of her family — a woman whose love, and guidance brought generations together and whose spirit will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
