Shirley Ann Bland

Shirley Ann Bland, 65, passed away May 16, 2025. She was born February 5, 1960 in Kansas City, Kansas to M.C. Davis and Willie Bea Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one sister.

Mrs. Shirley Ann Bland was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Kansas. Later she attended PNB, and earned a degree in Computer Programming. Upon graduation she began her career at Sprint Corporation.

Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a cherished friend. She will be remembered for being a woman of God who was beautiful, loving, outgoing, nurturing, stylish and having an angelic voice.

She leaves cherished memories with her husband for 49 long years, Alexander Bland Sr.; four sons, Alex Bland Jr., Fabian Bland (Mary), Alan Bland and Rodney Bland; one daughter Alisha Williams-Felter; twelve grandchildren: Tra'Quan Bland, Dez'Ron Bland, Se'Cret Bland, A'Zarrion Bland, Fabian Bland Jr., Faith Bland, Frank Miller III, Mark Allen Sydnor, Christian Sydnor, Jayla Steffen, Danitra Johnson and Christian Felter; four great-grandchildren: Sy'Aire Shareef, Juel Williams, Jaire Williams and Julian Felter; five siblings: Emma Davis, Gladys Love, Vivian Davis, Alease Collins, and Tommy Davis; along with many other relatives, friends and her best of friends and they know who they are.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 31, 2025, visitation will be from 9 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Calvary Chapel Church of God In Christ located at 5101 Bristol Kansas City, Mo 64129.

Interment: XII GATES MEMORIAL GARDENS
