Skyler Jayvon Cardez Smith

Skyler Jayvon Cardez Smith was born on March 22, 1989 to Drummand Lamb and Stacy Smith. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri where he received his formal education and graduated from Southeast Highschool.

Skyler was quite the animated funny guy who enjoyed telling jokes and reenacting when sharing a story. His  pride and joy were his six children. He was one who loved shopping, collecting hats, dancing and had a special passion for cooking. Skyler was a hard-core Kansas City Chiefs’ fan. Nevertheless, most of all he was a people person who never met a stranger.

While there is a hole left in our hearts, our life has been richly blessed to know him for who he was. He will leave an unforgettable spirit in our hearts forever.

Skyler’s journey here on earth ended Friday, April 15, 2022. He was preceded in death by his great- grandmother, Sylilia M. Lamb, grandfather, Milas Smith J.R,, and aunt, Bobbie Roberts.

Those left to cherish his memories are his six children; Sa’Rai J.C Smith, Serenity J.C Smith, Si’erra M. Smith, Jade Smith, Semaj J.C Smith, and Canaan E. Smith; father, Drummand Lamb; mother, Stacy E. Smith; siblings, Sawayla Marshall, Saveon Smith, Darien Flint, and DeAris Flint; grandmothers, Wilma Burns and Toya Charles; Aunts: Karen Young, Mabel Faulkner, Tashia Charles, and Joslyn Smith Uncles: Micheal Smith (Cynthia), and Tommy Porter (Tiffany). Special Friend: Chi’Ayra Hill and also a host of bonus siblings, cousins, close friends and relatives.
