Sonya “Sonny” Renee McCawley was born April 9, 1966, in Lane, Kansas, to Connie and George Jackson. She married her husband, Patrick, on July 18, 2015. Sonny was blessed with three children. She departed this life on December 21, 2025.

Sonny was preceded in death by her parents, and her oldest brother, James.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Patrick; her children, James (Biana), Anthony (Lisa), and Laramie (Bryce); grandchildren, Samara, Kristine, Abigail, Dalton, Bryce Jr., Braxton, Colson, Lyla, and Jeven; her beloved pup, Mia; and her brothers, Robert (Tracey) and Scott.
