Our beloved Stephanie I. Ramey-Moore was born on July 17, 1956, in Hiawatha, Kansas, to Alfred Ramey Jr. and Barbara Jean Ramey. 

Stephanie was a loving & cherished mother, proud grandmother, and beloved great-grandmother. She was a woman whose presence brought meaning to the lives of those around her. Stephanie enjoyed bowling and was an avid reader. 

These simple pleasures brought her happiness and provided many cherished memories throughout her life. Stephanie received her education through both the Hiawatha and Kansas City Public School systems. She graduated from Paseo High School in June 1974. In 1976, Stephanie married her high school sweetheart, Mr. Paul Moore. Together, they welcomed two beautiful children, Dawn - Lashay Moore and Shaun Moore. Her children and grandchildren became an important part of her life, and the love she shared with her family will continue to live on through the generations.

 Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Barbara Ramey; her maternal grandparents, Donald and Merle Baker; her paternal grandparents, Alfred and Bertha Ramey; Paul Moore; and her granddaughter, Bre’ Shaun Moore. Stephanie leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her children, Dawn - LaShay Moore of Kansas City, Missouri, and Shaun Moore of Sugar Creek, Missouri; her grandchildren, Martez, Damien, Kenyon, Kimora, Kennedy, Kyri, and Khari; and her great-grandchildren, Ja’Mari and Kylie. 

Though Stephanie's earthly journey has come to an end, the love she gave to her family will never end. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for the life she shared, the love she gave, and the memories she leaves behind. Her family will carry her with them in their hearts and continue to honor the beautiful legacy of love she created. Rest peacefully, Stephanie.

 You were deeply loved; you will be greatly missed, and you will never be forgotten.

  A graveside burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Mount Hope Cemetery, 606 East Iowa Street, KCKS 66434. The Ceremony will begin at 12:00 noon.
