Tammy Kay Robertson (née Martin), age 54, passed away on February 1, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Tammy was born on July 27, 1971, in Houston, Texas, and always remained a proud Houstonian. She was a dedicated mother to her four children and touched the lives of everyone who had the honor to meet her. She was a courageous, outspoken, fierce woman. The funniest person you could ever meet, she also had the biggest heart and spread her generosity liberally. Tammy loved to crochet, go to the beach, visit art museums, enjoy fashion, and dance like everyone in the room had eyes for only her. She passed on to her children her tenacity, humor, and lust for life. She will be remembered for these qualities and more, as there are no words to encompass all of the woman that she was.

Tammy is survived by her four children, four grandchildren, and her devoted cat, Abbie. She was preceded in death by her father.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Houston’s Rescued Pets Movement in Tammy’s honor, continuing her dedication to saving animals and spreading love.
