Theresa Jean ( Curl) Simmons

Theresa Jean Simmons, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed peacefully into Heaven on August 28, 2025, at 4:44 p.m. at Belton Regional Medical Center. She was surrounded by her family, who prayed and sang to her as she gained her wings.

Theresa was born on January 19, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the beloved daughter to the late Harold and Betty Jean Curl.

Theresa had a deep love for her family and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, being outdoors in nature, and cheering on her Kansas City Chiefs with family and friends.

She is survived by her four children: daughters Stacey Hayes (Rodney), Rachel Callahan (Steven), and Sarah Messick (Brett); her son Richard Dedrick; and her two cherished fur babies, Charlie and Millie.
