TreVonte was born on June 28, 2004, in Kansas City, Missouri, at Research Medical Center to Tiffanie S. Jones and Velton L. Harden. He peacefully departed this life on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the age of 21 at Research Medical Center.

TreVonte was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Treva A. Jones; paternal grandmother, Angela L. Harden; paternal grandfather, Roger Harden; and special aunt (like a grandmother too), Brenda Jones.

Tre attended Grandview Consolidated School District #4 and graduated as a Grandview Bulldog in May of 2022. He was currently employed at the Tru-Green Lawn Care Kansas City North team for two years. His hard work and commitment were evident, earning him the honor of being named  “The Branch’s Co-Rookie of the Year” in 2024. TreVonte was deeply respected and well-liked by everyone at Tru-Green and will be remembered for being friendly, helpful, and a Tru-Team player who made a big impact and impression on a great group of people.

TreVonte lived a life rooted in faith, love, and purpose. He was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and co-workers. Whether through his work or everyday interactions, Tre had a remarkable way of touching the lives of those around him. His quiet strength, compassion, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Tre enjoyed playing video games, watching and playing football and basketball, and spending quality time with the people he loved. His warm smile and easygoing personality made others feel welcome, and his presence brought joy wherever he went. Above all, TreVonte was a devoted and proud father to his beloved daughter, KaMiyah. Learning that he was going to be a father filled him with overwhelming joy and excitement. He embraced fatherhood with love, determination, and a deep sense of responsibility. Tre was committed to being the best father he could be, providing for his daughter and family with pride and devotion. The love he had for KaMiyah was evident in everything he did, and she was truly the light of his life. Tre was always ready and dependable whenever someone needed him. No matter the task, he never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He also had a great love for good food—and everyone knew Tre could eat! He often showed up with an entourage of friends who could eat just as well, and by the end of the gathering, he would have them help clean up too.TreVonte was a gentle, quiet giant with a warm, handsome smile that could brighten any room. He was a devoted father, a beloved son, a loving little big brother, and a loyal friend. His kindness, gentle spirit, and willingness to help others will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

TreVonte leaves to cherish his memory: his one and only baby girl, KaMiyah S. Harden; mother, Mother Tiffanie S. Jones; father, Velton L. Harden; sisters J’Lonna Harden and Dazionna Smith; nephew DeSean Roberson; aunt Rogina Harden; and the love of his life, Maya Boyd-Tanksley, with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that TreVonte's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to live on through all who knew and loved them.
