Victoria Issabella Cortés, cariñosamente conocida como “Bella,” nació el 22 de diciembre de 2003 en Nashville, Tennessee, hija de Francisco Cortés y Misty Howell. Partió de esta vida el 9 de diciembre de 2025.

Victoria recibió su educación en Van Horn High School. Nunca contrajo matrimonio y disfrutaba nadar. Compartió una relación cercana con su familia y amistades y fue profundamente amada por sus hermanos y su mejor amiga.

Fue precedida en muerte por su madre, Misty Howell; su abuela materna, Debbie Bryant Carter; y sus abuelos paternos, Francisco Cortés Luna y Eucracia Flores Pérez.

Deja para honrar su memoria a su padre, Francisco Cortés; sus hermanos, Mauricio Cortés y Giovanni Cortés; sus tíos, Adam Craig Carter, Guillermo Cortés, Marco A. Cortés y Javier Cortés; sus tías, Ansira Cortés y Norma Cortés; su mejor amiga, Blanca Yuridia Barrientos; además de otros familiares y amigos.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo en la Parroquia Holy Cross, ubicada en 5106 St. John Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64123.

Victoria Issabella Cortes, lovingly known as “Bella,” was born on December 22, 2003, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Francisco Cortes and Misty Howell. She entered eternal rest on December 9, 2025.

Victoria was educated at Van Horn High School. She was never married and found joy in swimming. She was known for her gentle spirit and the love she shared with those closest to her. Family and friendship were important to Victoria, and she cherished the bonds she had with her siblings and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Misty Howell; her maternal grandmother, Debbie Bryant Carter; and her paternal grandparents, Francisco Cortes Luna and Eucracia Flores Perez.

Victoria leaves to cherish her memory her father, Francisco Cortes; her siblings, Mauricio Cortes and Giovanni Cortes; her uncles, Adam Craig Carter, Guillermo Cortes, Marco A. Cortes, and Javier Cortes; her aunts, Ansira Cortes and Norma Cortes; her best friend, Blanca Yuridia Barrientos; along with other relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Parish, located at 5106 St. John Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64123.
