Warren was born on March 22, 1974, in St. Louis, Missouri to Warren Famous Sr., and Jessie Galloway Famous. At the age of five, he was baptized in Jesu’ name and filled with the Holy Spirit. In 1992, he graduated from Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts in Kansas City, Missouri where he excelled in Drawing.

Warren had a passion for cooking early on, leading him to    a life-long career of Culinary Arts. He was a staple in the Kansas City Restaurant Industry for over twenty-five years, most recently as the Chef at Lucky Brewgrille in Mission, Kansas for the past nineteen years.

Warren was well known as a dedicated father and grand-father to his five children, Briana McDonald, Diamond Famous, Kietya Famous, Bianca Famous, and Marcel Famous and his three grandchildren, Jeremiah Famous-Lee, Alianna Shaw, and Leiani Shaw.

Warren loved cooking for his family and teaching his skills to his children. He enjoyed movies, music, dancing, concerts and playing Dominos. He was known for his dedication to his family and job, compassionate spirit, and infectious laugh. He also was a devoted Broncos Fan.

On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, Warren “Kelo” Alexander Famous passed away at Saint Luke’s North Hospital in   Kansas City, Missouri at the age of forty-five. His brothers, Richard Love, Maurice love, and Jarvis Famous and sister, Alicia Love all preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Briana McDonald, Diamond Famous, Kietya Famous, Bianca Famous, and Marcel Famous; parents, Warren Famous Sr., and Jessie Famous; grandchildren, Jeremiah Famous-Lee, Alianna Shaw, and Leiani Shaw and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
