William John Little Sr., 76, of Kansas City, MO, went to be with God on Monday, March 30, 2026.

He was born July 1, 1949, in Washington, IA, to Calvin John Little and Ella Mae Yarnell (Little/Walker). He graduated from Washington High in 1968. He was a member of the U.S. Army and, after an honorable discharge, became a small arms specialist with the Rock Island Arsenal, where he later retired. He attended many colleges throughout his life, obtaining a B.A. degree in architecture, and used his college experience to substitute teach. He also helped care for his mother until her passing in 2015. He moved to Kansas City in 2018 to live with his daughter. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing. He liked to travel with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Little of Kansas City, MO; his son, William Jacob Little (Erin Fox) of Baldwin City, KS; his best friend, Roger Hamerlink of Chicago, IL; and the mother of his children, Barbara Snider of Kansas City, MO. He also leaves behind countless nieces and nephews, as well as his brothers and sister.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Laura Bellet, and her family; his son, William John Little Jr.; his grandson, James Michael Little; two of his best friends, Danny Crossett and John Jolly; and his second wife, Iva Jean Selley Little.
