William Franklin Peterson

William Franklin (Frank) Peterson, 83, passed away peacefully Tuesday January 9th, 2024. Frank was born March 10, 1940, to Roy Franklin Peterson and Marjorie Jo Peterson (Easton), Independence, Missouri. After high school Frank attended and graduated from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, MO with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Agriculture. 

Frank had a successful career working 30-plus years in chemical sales. Frank was married to his wife and soul mate of 35 years; Arilla (Judy) Peterson. Frank was preceded in death by his sister Linda Williams, Holden, MO, grandson Landon Peterson, Kansas City, MO and daughter in law Michelle Peterson, Phoenix, AZ. 

He is also survived by his wife, Arilla (Judy) Peterson, Kansas City, MO; sons, Richard Peterson, wife Deborah of Stockton, MO; Larry Peterson of Phoenix, AZ, George Algozzini, wife Carrie of Chillicothe MO, John Algozzini, Chillicothe, MO, Paula and Randy Johnson, Kansas City, MO and 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Frank was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. 

Frank liked to tell old stories with a cigar by the campfire at his annual deer hunting weekends for over 50 years with friends and family in Osceola, MO. He enjoyed fishing with Judy, his greatest fishing partner. Besides his dedication to family, Frank was thankful to God every day and would say his proudest accomplishment was his 42 years of sobriety. 

William Franklin Peterson (Frank) was born March 10th, 1942 in Independence, Missouri to Roy Franklin Peterson and Marjorie Jo Peterson. Frank graduated from Warrensburg High School and graduated from Central Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Agriculture. He has a successful career in chemical sales.
