William A. Rossetter

William A. Rossetter, 79, of Kansas City, passed away at home, taking his final flight from this earth. William was born in Alameda, California on March 27,1946 to Clinton and Ruth Rossetter. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

William proudly served his country as a pilot in the United States Air Force, retiring with the distinguished rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He continued his passion for aviation as a commercial pilot, spending countless hours in the sky doing what he loved most.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Ruth Rossetter; his brother, John Rossetter; and his beloved daughter, Amy Rossetter Worton.

He is survived by his children: Thomas Rossetter of Rio Vista, Texas, Anne and Curtis Bullard of Covington, Texas; and Alice and Brian Swartzendruber of Kaufman, Texas. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Amanda and Mark Mobbley of Godley, Texas; Sarah Worton of Portland, Oregon; Jeremy Worton of Cleburne, Texas; Alden Bullard and Zoey Bullard of Covington, Texas; Alyssa Keegan of New York, New York; and Natalie Hanson of Cleburne, Texas. He was also blessed with three great-granddaughters: Layla, Kelsie, and Summer Worton, all of Cleburne, Texas.

He will be remembered for his kind spirit, adventurous heart, unwavering service to his country, and the love he showed to his family. Though he has taken his final journey, the memories he created will remain forever in our hearts.
